Candice's journey in this field began with her graduation from Geraldine High School in 2008. Her passion for providing compassionate care to families during their times of loss led her to pursue further education at Jefferson State Community College, where she earned an Associate in Applied Science, Mortuary Science Degree in 2010. Since completing her education, Candice has been an active licensed funeral director and embalmer, serving the communities of Marshall and Etowah counties with dedication and empathy. In 2023, Candice joined the staff of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, where she currently serves as the Manager. In this role, she continues to provide exemplary service, ensuring that each family's needs are met with the utmost care and respect. Her commitment to helping others look and feel their best has made her a beloved figure among her clients. Ann is also an active member of Concord Baptist Church. Her musical talents shine as she plays the piano and organ and participates in the church's Praise and Worship Team. Her involvement in the church reflects her deep faith and dedication to serving others. In her spare time, Ann loves to cook and is known for her culinary skills. Her passion for cooking brings joy to her family and friends. Steve Layne has been happily married to his wife, Katherine, for 12 wonderful years. They reside together in Scottsboro.

Currently, Steve works as a funeral assistant, where his empathetic nature provides comfort and support to grieving families. In addition to his role as a funeral assistant, Steve often steps in to preach services when needed. His ability to deliver heartfelt and meaningful sermons has touched many lives, providing solace and hope to those grieving. His words, rooted in deep faith and genuine care, resonate with many and have made a lasting impact on the community.
