Robin Lynne Willingham

Robin Lynne Cunningham Willingham, 71, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Guntersville, Alabama, on July 25, 1954, Robin was the daughter of Thomas Calvin Cunningham and the late Wanda Head Cunningham. She lived a life defined by faith, compassion, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Robin was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and loyal friend. She shared a lifetime of love with her husband, James Howard “Pete” Willingham, whose steadfast companionship was one of life’s greatest blessings. She is survived by her husband, James Howard “Pete” Willingham; her father, Thomas Calvin Cunningham; her son, Thomas Christopher Willingham; her daughter, Bethany Dawn Bennett and son-in-law, Kyle Ray Bennett; her grandsons, Richard Clay Woronka and Cody James Woronka; her brother, Ralph “Butch” Cunningham (Debbie); Sister in Life Patsy Clayton Pointer (Gary) and numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Wanda Head Cunningham. Robin will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, kind heart, and loving nature. She possessed a rare gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her warmth, gentle encouragement, and genuine concern for others left a lasting impact on all who knew her. A talented cook and wonderful hostess, Robin expressed her love through the meals she prepared and the memories she helped create around the family table. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and fellowship, where family and friends always knew they would be greeted with a smile and a full plate. She enjoy traveling the country side camping with her husband and friends. Her greatest enjoyment was playing cards in her card club or anywhere she could find a table. More than anything, Robin loved her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. Her legacy lives on through the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the unconditional love she shared so freely. While her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of those who knew her, her family finds peace in their faith and in the assurance that she is now resting in the loving presence of her Lord and Savior.
