Valera Holdbrooks, 86, of Albertville, Alabama passed away
Monday, December 19, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. Holdbrooks was survived by her sons Tommy (Sue) Holdbrooks,
Bruce (Jenny) Holdbrooks, and Phil (Rhonda) Holdbrooks; daughter
Ann H. Holland; grandchildren Joel Holland, Tim Holdbrooks,
Stephanie Wininger, Andrew Holdbrooks, Ansley Holdbrooks, and Brice
Holdbrooks; great-grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Holdbrooks,
J.T. Holdbrooks, and Brandon Holland.
Mrs. Holdbrooks joined her husband Thurman C. Holdbrooks;
parents Arvin and Sally Bruce; brothers J.B. Bruce and Gordon
Bruce; and grandson Lee Holdbrooks in death.
Brice Holdbrooks, Andrew Holdbrooks, Tim Holdbrooks, Joel
Holland, Deleal Wininger, and J.T. Holdbrooks will serve as
pallbearers.
Family will receive friends Friday, December 23, 2011 from
11:00 to 1:00 pm with the service to follow in the chapel of
the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Joey
Canndy officiating. With burial to follow in Marshall
Memorial Gardens.
