Mrs. Sydney Goodin Beck, 69, of Boaz, Alabama passed away
Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Shepard's Cove, Hospice of Marshall
County. Mrs. Beck was the piano player at Rock Springs
Baptist Church, and played for many years.
Sydney is survived by her husband J. Braswell Beck; daughter
Tracey (Jimmy Harper) Price; sister Lucy Adams; grandchild Becka
Swords; great-grandchild Mary Grace Swords.
Sydney was preceded in death by her parents C.M. and Naomi
Goodin; sister Clara Gray; brother Ben Goodin; and grandson Jamey
Price.
Bill Gray, Derek Beck, Marc Duke, Thomas Dale, Marvin Beck, and
Melvin Beck will serve as pallbearers.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from
5:00 to 7:00 pm. Her funeral service will be held Thursday,
December 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Bro. Neal Chaffin
officiating. Music will be provided by Kevin Ivey Burial will
follow the service in Rock Springs Cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made
to Hospice of Marshall County.
