Guy Howard Bruce, Jr., 57, of Albertville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital.

Mr. Bruce is survived by his mother Billie Jean Bruce; daughters Leigh (Spouse: Stacey Wilson) Bruce and Julie Kate Bruce; brothers Gil (Shernie) Bruce; grandchildren Nathan Wilson Bruce and Katie Wilson Bruce.

Mr. Bruce is preceded in death by his father Guy Howard Bruce, Sr.

Family will hold a memorial service Sunday, December 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Albertville.  Family has elected cremation and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Albertville.

    I am so sorry for your loss, but I hope you can be comforted by the fact that Guy is now at peace. I was in the same high school class as Guy and I always remember his face with a huge smile. He was one of our "class clowns". He loved life. I know he will be missed but I'm sure there are many, many memories that will stay with you always. God bless and comfort you all at this time.

    Buddy was a member of the Marshall County Board of REALTORS for many years as was his Father. We were honored to have him as a member. Anytime he attended our meetings or our classes, he was a welcome asset. He was super initellegent, was a rock as to legal issues and always could supply us with a smile. He willingly served on our Professional Standards Committee and we will miss him.
