Mr.Grover Dean Raines of Albertville,Al. passed away Wednesday
August 31,2011 at Huntsville Hospital.He was 84.
Grover was born August 17,1927 to Burley Harvel & Jessie
Rogers Raines.He was retired from working with the food stamp
program for the State of Alabama for many years.He was also a long
time member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife;Julia Hawk Raines of
Albertville.Sister-in-law;Robbie Rains of
Albertville,Brothers-in-law;John(Helen)Hawk of Tennessee &
Glenn(Cheri)Hawk of Tennessee.Nieces;Carol Hawk Williams,Sandra
Hawk Klonaris & Anne Frazier.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 2,2011 at 11:00am
from the Fairview United Methodist Church in Albertville.Interment
to follow in the adjoining cemetery.Brother Cliff Mooore will
officiate.Mr.Raines will lie in state at the church on Friday
September 2,2011 from 10:00am until service time.Visitation will be
Thursday September 1,2011 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Adams Brown
Funeral Home.
