Danny Sims, 63, of Albertville, Alabama passed away Wednesday,
February 15, 2012 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham.
Mr. Sims was survived by his son Chris (Heather) Sims; daughter
Melisha Sims (Dewayne) Bowen; mother Verna Mae Sims; sister Mary
Ellen Powers; brother Kenneth Dale Sims; grandchildren Ty Sims,
Colby Sims, Dylan Bowen, and Austin Bowen; numerous nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Sims joined his father Olen Sims in death.
Dylan Bowen, Ty Sims, Colby Sims, Mike Powers, John Powers, and
Danny Hunt will serve as pallbearers.
Family will hold a graveside service at 10:00 am on Thursday,
February 16, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Sims
Community.
