Charles Bomar Grimes, 82, of Albertville, Alabama passed away
Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his residence.
Charles is survived by his wife Jimmie Faye Grimes; son Ronnie
(Deborah) Grimes; daughter Pam (Jim) Brady; brother Wendell
(Sandra) Grimes; grandchildren Jennifer (John) Amos and Ben (Becky)
Grimes; great-grandchildren Taylor Smith and Lexi Grimes; and
mother-in-law Corene Fossett.
Charles joined his parents R.B. and Vertie Grimes; brother
Walter Grimes; sisters Geraldine Rutledge and Frances McRaven; and
grandson LCpl. David H. Miles in death.
Ricky Fossett, Kenny Fossett, Jason Grimes, Jeff Grimes, Blake
Fossett, and Kip Fossett will serve as pallbearers.
Keith Fossett, Larry Fossett, Rodney Richardson, Johnny Bonds,
Gwin Davis, Benny Frazier, Kyle Reeves, Bill McRaven, and Troy
Street will serve as honorary pallbearers
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 5:00
to 8:00 pm. Charles' funeral service will be held Saturday,
January 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Adams Brown Service
Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Cannady and Bro. Neal Fossett
officiating. Charles will be laid to rest at Solitude Church
Cemetery.
