Annie Lee Miller, 90, of Horton, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Oakwood Ridge Assisted Living Center.

Ms. Miller was survived by her son Edward Earl (Linda) Brown; daughter Melba Kinney (James) Kinney; grandchildren Jeff (Shawn) Brown, Kevin (Pam) Brown, Jeremie (Katie) Kinney, Jason Kinney, and Justin (April) Kinney; great-grandchildren Courtney Brown, Wesley Brown, Mary Cole, and Griff Kinney; sisters Maudie (Reeves) Brothers, Claudie (Neil) Owens, and Mellie (A.Y.) Dendy; numerous neices and nephews.

Ms. Miller joined her husband Hoyt E. Brown, and Lee Miller; son Leymon Brown; siblings Onslow Ruff Irvin, Ellis Atlas Irvin, Odell Terrell Irvin, Mattie Ree Irvin (Rigsby) Brewer, Dalton E. Irvin, Verlie McCoy Irvin, Fannie B. Irvin, Covie Leskie Irvin, Tannie May Irvin, Vensie D. Irvin, Ralph Anolia Irvin, and Nellie Faye Irvin Wallace in death.

Jeff Brown, Kevin Brown, Wesley Brown, Jeremy Kinney, Jason Kinney, and Justin Kinney will serve as pallbearers.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Rickey Harcrow and Elder Stoney Dorning officiating. Ms. Miller will lie in state at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Wednesday. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
