Alfred Moses Metheny passed on Sunday, November 27,
2011. He was 86.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and
Louetta
Metheny; brothers, Wilfred, Arlie, Chester Metheny; sisters, Polly
Patterson,
L.V. Clifton, and Ruby Newall.
He is survived by his wife, Golvia Metheny; sons, Dan
(Jane)
Metheny, Steve (Barbara) Metheny, and Julian (Judith) Metheny;
daughters, Mara
(Jerry) Landers and Gayle Hard; grandchildren, Daniel Metheny,
Kristin Metheny,
Scott Metheny, Dwight Metheny, Shane Metheny, Jarrod Landers, Nick
Landers,
Preston Hard, Eric Hard, Tara Metheny, Amanda Saint, Shawn Hatcher,
and Lisa
Wills.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 29,
2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Adams-Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with
Bro. Jerry
Culverson and Bro. Tom Holland officiating.
Interment will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family
will receive friends on Monday,
November 28, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Adams-Brown
